We value your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect (if any) and how we handle it.

By using our application ("App"), you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We do not store or retain any content you provide in the App.

a) User Input and Uploaded Files

  • Any text you paste or type into the App is processed only in memory to generate speech output.
  • Any files you upload (e.g., PDFs, images) are processed temporarily to create audio.
  • We do not save or log your input, uploaded files, or generated audio.
  • All processing happens securely and is discarded immediately after the operation is completed.

b) Technical Information

  • We may receive basic, non-identifying technical details (such as device type or browser version) required to operate the App.
  • These details are not linked to you personally and are not stored long-term.

2. No Tracking or Analytics

  • We do not use analytics tools that collect or store personal usage data.
  • We do not use tracking cookies, advertising networks, or profiling tools.
  • Your usage of the App remains private to you.

3. How We Use Temporary Data

Any data you provide is used only for:

  • Converting your text or files into audio
  • Delivering that audio output back to you

Once the audio is generated and sent to your device, your original data is permanently discarded.

4. Third-Party Payment Processors

If you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment is processed by a third-party provider:

  • Polar — our current payment processor for new subscriptions
  • Stripe — used for existing subscribers who signed up before the transition

We do not store your payment card details. Your billing information (such as name, email, and payment method) is handled directly by Polar or Stripe under their respective privacy policies. We only receive confirmation of your subscription status.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not share, sell, or trade your personal information with third parties, except as described in Section 4 (payment processing).

The only other exception is if we are required by law to disclose information — which is unlikely, as we do not retain personal or usage data beyond what is necessary for account and subscription management.

6. Security

While your data is in transit, we use encrypted connections (HTTPS) to keep it safe.

Since we do not store your data, there is no risk of long-term exposure from our systems.

7. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in some jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
